The Taming of the Shrew
Opening this week is Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine. A young woman in Manhattan is blessed with good luck. Then she meets a guy with a lot of bad luck at a masquerade ball. After they kiss, they discover that their fortunes have changed. This film is certified PG, runs 103 minutes, and contains mild language and sex references.
Also opening this week (at the Vue only) is Friends With Money, starring Jennifer Aniston, Frances McDorman, Joan Cusack, and Catherine Keener. The film is a drama about three married women, their husbands, and their lone single friend. Certified 15, the film runs 1 hour 28 minutes, and contains strong language and sex references.
Thursday sees the much anticipated opening of Pirates of the Caribbeah: Dead Man's Chest, starring Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom. Captain Jack Sparrow returns in another supernatural adventure owing a blood debt to Davey Jones, captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. Will and Elizabeth’s wedding plans get wrecked in the process? The film is certified 12A, runs 149 minutes, and contains moderate horror and action-adventure violence.
