Also showing this week: The Oxford Playhouse is running Charley's Aunt; The Burton Taylor Theatre is showing the child-friendly Egg and Spoon, and Dreams Come Out To Play; and finally, The Abingdon Touring Theatre Company will be bringing Canterbury Tales to Ewelme, Horton-cum-Studley, and the Unicorn Theatre in Abingdon.
Also out this week is the teen comendy John Tucker Must Die. Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives) stars as a high school student who keeps cheating on his girlfriends. Three of them get together with a new girl to break his heart and dump him. The film is rated 12A, and stars Jesse Metcalfe, Brittany Snow, and Ashanti.
Last, but certainly not least, is the opening of the superbly named Snakes on a Plane. An FBI agent escorting an eyewitness on a flight has to deal with a plane full of deadly snakes released by the criminal who wants the witness dead. The film is rated 15, and stars Samuel L. Jackson, Byron Lawson, and Nathan Phillips.
