College Theatre :
Are You Anybody? - Patrick Stewart's somewhat enigmatic title for his inaugural lecture springs from his early experiences as an actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company. A then more famous actor than himself was regularly greeted at the stage door by a mass of young female fans clamouring for his autograph. 'Are you anybody?' was a fan's question to the young Patrick Stewart as she thrust pen and paper in his direction. Forty years on, and still working for the Royal Shakespeare Company, Patrick Stewart will recount his life as an actor in his first lecture as Cameron Mackintosh Visiting Professor of Contemporary Theatre at St Catherine's College.
