' I have eaten at Shanghai 30's a few times and each time the experience is wonderful. The staff are always smiling and eager to please. The food is outrageously good - I have been told the chef is a '5-star szechuan chef'. I don't know exactly what that means, but I do know that the menu is varied and inventive, deliciously prepared, and beautifully served. I think Shanghai 30's is probably the best restaurant in Oxford. '

' A completely lovely experience on both occasions. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and accompanied by elegant service from a charming staff. One-no, two- of the best dining experiences I can remember. I wish you great good fortune. '

' Lovely setting, such friendly staff and reasonable priced. Why would you go here? Because you feel special, because you can not believe you are in busy Oxford. Felt like a local secret.
Food was a good price and really enjoyed the champagne ribs. A really good selection. One thing I would recommend is the Sizzling Beef might benefit from Fillet steak, and I would have paid extra for that, Chef Imperial in Woodstock is hard to beat for this dish. '
