Established in 1986, Coffee Concerts have been a continuing feature of Sunday mornings in Oxford. They are recognised as one of the most successful chamber music series in the country. Oxford Philomusica Piano Festival & Summer Academy: Fou Ts’ong Piano Recital
Hailed as ‘the greatest Chinese musician alive today’ Fou Ts’ong returns to the festival after his spellbinding Haydn recital in 2009. Dubbed ‘The poet of the piano’, Fou Ts’ong is famous for his deeply spiritual interpretations of works by Chopin, Schubert and Mozart. This year he presents a Chopin recital to celebrate the composer’s 200th anniversary. Tickets £20.

Oxford Philomusica Piano Festival Orchestral Concert: Chopin & Beethoven
Cristina Ortiz, piano, Marios Papadopoulos, conductor.
