Live Friday: Ichi & The Hand

The Hand are Rachael and Wig who met on the Bristol ferry boats and united around a love of banjo, kora and ukele, going on to develop a sound that draws together enchanting threads of folk and world music. Ichi hails from from Nagoya, Japan. Taking the notion of the one-man band to the limits he combines steel drum, tape loops, xylophone and ping pong balls to produce something unique, ritualistic and fun.
