Bath Place Hotel
hotel

Address: 4-5 Bath Place, Oxford OX1 3SU

Bath Place Hotel comprises a group of seventeenth century cottages surrounding a flagstone courtyard in the heart of Oxford. The cottages date back to the early sixteen hundreds and were originally built by Flemish weavers who were granted permission to build against the outside of the city wall. Prior to this it is believed that there was a communal well and bathhouse on the site. The cottages nestle between New College (one of the oldest of the University) and Hertford College (established in the thirteenth century). Next to the hotel is Turf Tavern; the oldest inn in the city. The Hotel provides ...A unique experience for visitors to stay in 17c listed buildings in the heart of Oxford, owned and run by the same family for 20 years. Fifteen highly individual en suite rooms including family suites. All rooms with mini bars, telephones, TV's and tea and coffee making facilities. Residents lounge and bar. Wireless connection free of charge. The premises are entirely non-smoking. Secure parking (an additional charge), free parking a short walk from the Hotel. Superb central location in a quiet, historical backwater of the city centre.
