The modern, spacious restaurant won a design award in 1999 and is as suitable for an intimate dinner as it is for a large corporate lunch or private party. As a teaching resource, the restaurant provides hospitality management students in the Oxford Brookes University Business School with state of the art facilities. Students get the opportunity to learn, develop and demonstrate their kitchen and restaurant skills. Brookes Restaurant operates Monday to Friday lunch time from 12 noon until 1.30 pm. Brookes Restaurant is on the University's Gipsy Lane campus, facing directly onto Gipsy Lane. Gipsy Lane is off the London Road, about a mile and a half from Oxford city centre and about half a mile before you reach Headington.
